Sick
If a client is experiencing symptoms of illness they will be asked to immediately reschedule their appointment.
Symptoms can include but are not limited to:
sore throat
runny nose
new or worsening cough
fever
vomiting
diarrhea
fatigue
loss of taste or smell
body aches
red or irritated eyes
difficulty breathing
If you arrive to your appointment against the following, you will be refused service!

Refunds
Origins of Beauty, Spa & Salon does not provide refunds for any service, retail product, or Gift Certificate purchased or received.
Guarantee
Origins of Beauty, Spa & Salon provides a 3-day guarantee period.
Issues with your service determined to be application, chemistry, or product error may qualify for repair or replacement.
All services outside these quality guarantees or outside the 3-day timeframe will be subject to additional repair charges.
This remains at the discretion of Origins of Beauty, Spa & Salon.
Cancellation
Cancelling or rescheduling an appointment requires 48-hours notice.
Failure to provide 48-hours notice will result in the charge of the $25 Cancellation Fee.
This cancellation fee must be paid through eTransfer within 24-hours of the cancelled or rescheduled appointment.
Failure to provide payment of the Cancellation Fee will result in the inability to reschedule or schedule future appointments and/or cancellation of existing prebooked appointments.
Same-Day Cancellations
Cancellations and/or rescheduling an appointment with 12-hours notice or less will classify as same-day cancellations.
Same-day cancellations will result in a Cancellation Fee charge of 100% of the service booked.
This cancellation fee must be paid through eTransfer within 24-hours of the cancelled and/or rescheduled appointment.
Failure to provide payment of the Cancellation Fee will result in the inability to reschedule, schedule future appointments and/or the cancellation of existing prebooked appointments.
Late Arrival
If you believe you are going to be arriving to your appointment late, please provide notice with your estimated arrival time.
If you arrive 5-minutes late to your appointment, a modified service will be performed (ex: no nail art).
If you arrive 10-minutes late to your appointment your service will be automatically cancelled. You will be charged the $25 Cancellation Fee.
Clients in this situation may arrive to pay the Cancellation Fee or make payment through eTransfer within 24-hours of the appointment.
Failure to provide payment of the Cancellation Fee will result in the inability to reschedule or schedule future appointments and/or cancellation of existing prebooked appointments.
No Show / Missed Appointment
If you are unable to make your scheduled appointment notification is REQUIRED.
If you do not provide notification and do not arrive to your scheduled appointment time within 15-minutes you will be considered a no-show.
No-shows will result in the charge of 100% of the service booked.
This fee must be paid through eTransfer within 24-hours of the missed appointment.
Failure to provide payment of the No Show Fee will result in the inability to reschedule or schedule future appointments and/or cancellation of existing prebooked appointments.
Other Nail Technicians Work
Services will not be performed on clients with existing product applied to their nails from another Nail Technician.
All clients are asked to attend their service(s) with bare nails or previous applied product from Origins of Beauty, Spa & Salon.
Nail Fixes
Fixes scheduled as a stand-alone appointment will be charged at $10 per nail for repair or replacement.
Fixes scheduled within an already existing appointment will be charged $5 per nail for repair or replacement.
Extended Services
Regular appointments are recommended every 3-weeks for Gel Nails and Gel Overlays.
Services booked at/or beyond 4-weeks will no longer classify as routine maintenance and therefore, be subject to the additional charge of $20 to cover additional time, work and product during these services.
Please speak with me direct regarding your extended services.
Age
Gel Nails are unable to be performed to any individual under 16-years of age.
Gel Polish is unable to be performed to any individual under 12-years of age.
Children and Groups
Please do not bring additional individuals including children or friends to your appointment.
Exceptions will apply to those with back-to-back appointments or parents and guardians.
Personal Belongings
Cell phone usage will NOT be permitted during an appointment. Clients will be asked to please leave their devices in their vehicles or out of reach for the duration of their appointment.
Additionally, if Apple/Samsung Watches are continuously distracting, clients will be asked to remove these and place them out of reach as well.
